01Wealy: Regional Technical and Trading Representation
In 2018, Imagine Pharma entered into an MOU with Wealy Medical Instruments ltd, a manufacturers of Auto Retractable Syringes Technology from Shantou China; to carry our a Usability Study in Uganda; Carryout a market needs Analysis for the sole purposes of establishing a regional manufacturing and distribution Hub for Auto retractable syringes technology in Uganda. Currently undertaking Acceptability studies for Auto retractable syringes in Mulago NRRH, Kiruddu, and Kawempe Hospital.
02CiplaQCI: Regional Technical and Trading Representation
In 2019, We acquired Regional Technical and Trading Representation for CiplaQCI for DRC, Burundi, Central African Republic (CAR), Angola and Congo Brazzaville and expanding:
- 2018 – DRC: Democratic Republic of Congo A USD 15 million Public and Private Market Malaria alone.
- 2019 – Burundi: Burundi A USD 7 million Public and Private Market Malaria alone.
- 2020 – Congo: Congo Brazzaville A USD 5 million Market.
- 2021 – CAR: Central Africa Republic A USD 8 million Public and Private Market Malaria alone.
03Wondfo: Partnership for Investment in Sustainable Manufacturing, Distribution and R&D of POCT for Africa
In 2020, Imagine Pharma commensed negotiations of Regional Technical and Trading Representation with Wondfo Biotech China to facilitate in-country Regulatory Compliance for inclusion on; The MOH National Testing Algorithms and other MOH Disease Control Procurement Platforms in Uganda.
In 2021 Imagine Pharma has also entered an MOU to establish with Wondfo Biotech a leading manufactured of RDT tests and POCT tests Devices and Reagents from China to establish a JV between Imagine Pharma and Wondfo; A Partnership for Investment in Sustainable Manufacturing, Distribution and Research & Development (R&D) OF Point Of Care Testing Technology (POCT) For Africa.
